This is such a striking 1970s floral lame maxi dress. The base colour is black with silver flecks acting as a backdrop for giant blowsy flowers in red, yellow and purple tones with white centres. The lame of the flower motifs has a more bronze & gold tone. Overall the effect of the metallic knit makes this a statement party dress or resort wear number. The sleeves are blouson in style with elasticated cuffs. The dress fastens to the rear with a metal zipper. There are original belt loops but the original belt is missing. The loops can be removed or a neat, thin belt in gold, silver or black could be added to give a cinched waist look. The skirt is a perfect flared A-line style which gives this dress an amazing shape as well as movement when worn. It is unlabelled but well made. Condition wise it is in excellent vintage condition with little signs of wear. It is unlined and will be best fit up to a UK 8-10, US 2-4.
