This curvy vase is formed in a mushroom-like shape. Its top half features a lovely floral and polka dot design, and its bottom half features a wonderfully textured pattern. It is signed by the artist on the bottom. A unique vase that's sure to brighten any room.

Decorated inside and out and from top to bottom, Colleen's hand built pottery is inspired by vibrant textile patterns and the unique shapes and textures in vintage glassware. Crafting from custom made plaster press molds and soft clay slabs, she designs unique one-of-a-kind dishes durable enough for everyday use. An opaque layer of porcelain slip creates a blank canvas for layering wax, colored slip and underglazes. The rich brown clay beneath is revealed when she draws the final outlines using a technique known as sgraffito. The resulting item is pure joy, empty or filled.
